  2. Some Facts • Nokia Vertu series, consists of the most expensive mobile phones, till date. • It’s has a metal body, made of stainless steel as well as platinum parts. It is hand-made and takes almost 3 years to make a piece. Very few are qualified enough to hand craft these models. • Has diamonds in some of it’s Signature models. • The price range is between INR. Rs.2 lakhs to 20 lakhs.

  3. Target Customers • The VERTU isclearly targeted at the upper elite class, as stated in its advertisements “ FOR THE UPWARDLY MOBILE”

Marketing strategy • The prospective customers are taken in a limousine to the Vertu Store. • It has a dedicated key that connects owners with travel and entertainment advice and assistance across U.S, Europe and Asia. • The customer base is restricted to elite class, so they do not go around advertising in bill boards or in other mediums, which relates to the common man.

  5. They have “VERTU FORTRESS” software, which respects the need for privacy of its high class customers. It allows synchronization of data in the phone with a high security server maintained in ex-military bunker, in the English countryside. So, if the mobile is lost, we can still access data from a personal account in www.vertu.com

  6. THEY R BACK…. • On the occasion of the 60th Anniversary of the premium car brand Ferarri, VERTU has come up with “VERTU-FERARRI” phones , which costs around Rs. 9,88,000. • Sold only in Nokia stores – London, Singapore, New York and Hong Kong.
