  1. Do You Need A Job? We Can Help! • Lake Grove Presbyterian Church offers free job search counseling to anyone (not just church members) who needs a new job or wants to change jobs. • Finding a job is a full time job. We can help. • Our Mission is “To help you help yourself find a job!”. • We can help you: • Identify the elements you want and don’t want in a job. • Identify and promote your key transferrable skills. • Develop your Elevator Pitch. • Create your personal business card. • Write your forward-looking resume and cover letter. • Learn networking skills. • Practice interviewing and learn many other job searching skills. • Our group meets every Monday morning from 8:30AM-10:30AM at the church in the Hub Room on the second floor. At that time you will practice your Elevator Pitch, discuss what you have done in the past week and what you plan to do in the coming week. On a regular basis we have speakers teaching key elements of the job search process.
