Broad-band UV Absorbers reduce excited states caused by UV-B and UV-A light. 

TINOGARD Q based on ESQ™ technology reduces the lifetime of excited states, initiated by any light or energy, thereby stabilizing the ground state. Additionally it exhibits secondary benefits like radical scavenging.

Combining broad-band UV Absorbers e.g. Cibafast H Liq. with TINOGARD Q results in highly effective stabilizer systems.

  • Comparison to Benzophenone-4; Synergy with UVAs

  • Experimental Setup:

    • Artificial Irradiation

      • ATLAS Suntest XLS+ Xenon lamp

      • 500 W/m2, indoor conditions

    • 30 ml borax-glass bottles

  • Photos of each set of samples after each irradiation cycle

  • Following Stabilizer Systems were compared:

    • No stabilizer

    • 0.10% Benzophenone-4

    • 0.05% TINOGARD Q

    • 0.025% TINOGARD Q + 0.05% CIBAFAST H Liquid
