  1. eServices Pilot Data Entry What Every Pilot Needs to Know

  2. Start With nmcap.org We need to get to eServices not Emergency Services. There are a lot of ways to get there. If you start at nmcap.org, it’s 1 click away. The link is on the top of every page of the NM Wing site.

  3. Log Into eServices Use your CAP ID and your password you entered when you created your account. If you haven’t created an account there is a link for first time eServices users.

  4. eServices Landing Page Click on My Operations Qualifications to get to the Operations Qualifications page.

  5. Pilot Entry Link Once you arrive at the Operations Qualifications Landing Page, you will then click on the “Pilot” link. For entry of EMERGENCY SERVICES tasks you can get to the data entry page by click on that link.

  6. Start with What Do I Need? We need to see where the red flags are. We start with the lowest level of CAP VFR Pilot. Once you click on the “What do I need? Button, a pulldown will appear after the screen refreshes.

  7. Go with the Lowest Entry Position Click on the pulldown and select CAP VFR Pilot. This will finally take you to the data entry page and you will be able to see if you have any yellow flags (Pending) or any red flags (Expired).

  8. What Color Are My Flags? Here you will see any expired or incomplete tasks which will be highlighted in red and there will be a red flag associated with that tasking group. If all tasking for that group has been completed it will display a green checkmark. To enter data for a task, click on the link title of the task.

  9. Enter ALL the Data So many blocks and each looks like it works independently. Make sure you enter in all updated information. The middle block contains information specific to the checkride and ALL areas must be entered or you will get a popup error message. The screen with then refresh with red error message next to the item(s) that weren’t entered properly. These must be corrected to go through. You will then get a popup message telling you that your information is awaiting/submitted for approval.

  10. FORM 91 Entry Select the date of the checkride. Check the box of the location of the checkpilot. Select the Checkpilot These must be corrected to go through. You will then get a popup message telling you that your information is awaiting approval.

  11. Prerequisites Check 60-1 for all Pilot qualifications Enter items in as they are completed or if they are already completed. When completing pilot qualifications the prerequisites will already be entered and makes the approval process quick and easy.

  12. Currency Entry Update your last instrument approaches. Update your last landings and takeoffs.

  13. eServices Landing Page To get to the Operations Section in the National site that contains all the Form 5, Oride, FRO, courses and exams click on the “Online Courses and Exams” link.

  14. Courses and Exams Get familiar with this page because it has so much information and many links to very important exams and courses.

  15. Select the Exam Use the pulldown to select the exam you need to take. Enter in your CAP information and hit the “Next” button. This will take you to the test.

  16. Courses and Exams CAPF5 Course

  17. FORM 5 Course This course prepares you for all items you should expect during your CAPF5 checkride including paperwork and flight tasks. At the bottom there is a link to take the written test.

  18. Courses and Exams National Checkpilot Pilot Standardization Course

  19. NCPSC Clicking on the link from the National site will take you back to eServices where it will ask you to login. Once you login it takes you automatically to the course. Can be found also in eServices left side menu.

  20. NCPSC Landing Page National Check Pilot Standardization Course. Now can be done online. Taken in phases. Takes you away from the site and is done using flash. Each phase is recorded so that the entire course does not have to be taken all at once. Quizzes at the end of each phase. Completion is logged automatically into eServices.
