  2. Define a challenge in your community that you think something should be done about? According with the last pubblication by Health World Organizaction (2011), between 21 and 25 % of the deaths in Venezuela, are caused by the environmental pollution… …This situation is very worrying in all levels. Because of that, the main challenge that we need, is establish a new ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL AWARENESS!!!

  3. I think that the most important challenge that my community should be done is based in the environmental and social awareness. With this tool, we can create a new actitude in the society. The main environmental problems are focused in a strong lack of information about our planet, it currently conditions and our responsability on our environment. For this reason, I have dedicated my self to share environmental information to communities. Climate change, water scarcity, sustainability, health and environment are the most important topics in my workshops with women, men, student and other people who has interested.

  4. All principles of the Earth Charter are guiding me whit create challenges in my community, but I think that the most important principle are two: respect and care of the life community (first principle) and the ecology integrity (second principle). Which Earth Charter principle(s) is/are guiding you in this challenge?

  5. Currently, in my community (Venezuela) I have many educational projects oriented to create awareness in the people. I work above all, with climate change topic, because I think that is a very important problem in all world, and in our case, Venezuela, we are feeling some changes in the agriculture, temperature and lack of water. So, because of that since 2007 I working with a educational programme oriented to climate change study in many schools. Also, I work in a national ONG called VITALIS, and we realize many environmental projects in and with the community, as reforestations, workshops, and others activities! Share what you are going to do and/or what you would like to do about it.
