IPA projects • Modernization of the VET in Serbia, 2.3 mil total, 1.8 mil Euro for the equipment (ICT to some extent) • Education For All: Increasing the Availability and Quality of Education for Children from Marginalized Groups – 2 mil Euro • Support for QA within the National Primary and Secondary Education Examination System – 2 mil Euro (ICT used for databases)

  5. IPA projects • The “Second Chance", Systemic Development of Elementary, Practice Based Adult Education in Serbia – 4 mil Euro • Improvement of Preschool Education in Serbia – IMPRES – 2 mil Euro

  6. World Bank, IBRD project • Delivery of Improved Local Services (DILS) 32 mil Euro • Inclusive Education System • ICT is incorporated as teaching aid and as a support for children with special needs. • EMIS development

  7. eLearning Pogram 2005-2011 • WUS Austria, NGO – Austrian Development Agency funded projects • eLearning program and eLearning segment of the MSDP program

What could be helpful for the process of shaping vision? • Evidence synthesis reports on the benefits in terms of e.g. student achievements, return on investments • Strategy based on evidence, multidisciplinary approach, comprehensiveness and extensive discussions. • Research on students needs. • Transparency and openness about good practices but also about failures. • Examples of successful pedagogy driven, technology enhanced innovations.
