McAfee Inc. • McAfee, Inc.’s McAfee VirusScan has millions of users. • Its product range includes McAfee VirusScan Plus, VirusScan Enterprise, and Internet Security Suite. • It was first released in 1992 by McAfee Inc. • Security Center is currently in version 10.0, while VirusScan is currently in version 14.0.

McAfee VirusScan Features • Included in software suites sold by McAfee Inc. • scans files for viruses as you open them • daily virus definition updates • SiteAdviser, which rates websites based on evidence of spam, malware, and phishing, and then displays those ratings to users • SystemGuards, which monitors the computer for activity that may have been caused by viruses or hacking.

Security Suite has over a hundred million users. • It was first released in 1988 by Eduard Kucera and PavelBaudis. • Avast! product line consists of three flagship versions of their Internet Security system: Avast!
