Operating Expenses • Total Operating Expenses- $31.5 Million* -Decrease of 2.1% from FY 2009 • Annual OM&A within 5.2% of fiscal year 2010 Budget • Routine Maintenance $6.0 Million in FY 2010 - SHS Maintenance Condition Rating -90.9 • Cost to Collect a Toll Transaction 12 cents *(excluding depreciation and amortization)

Long-Range Planning • SR 836 SouthWest Extension (83618) - PD&E advertisement in January 2011 • SR 874 Ramp Connector (87410) - PD&E underway • SR 924 Extensions West to the HEFT/East to I-95 (92404, 92407) - PD&E underway • Connect 4 Xpress (20001) - PD&E advertisement in May 2011 • US 1 Express Lanes (20003) - PD&E underway

ORT Implementation • SR 112 ORT Conversion & Infrastructure Modifications (10016, 11209) • Go Live in Summer 2012 • SR 836 ORT Conversion & Infrastructure Modifications for the East and West Sections (10017, 83624, 83631) • Go Live in Summer 2013 • SR 836 ORT Conversion & Infrastructure Modifications for the Central Section (10017, 83632) • Go Live in Summer 2014

ITS/Technology Advancement • Systemwide Implementation of Dynamic Message Signs (10019) • Installation of state-of-the-art full color signs to be completed in fiscal year 2013 • ITS Master Plan (10020) • Completed in fiscal year 2011 to identify future use of technology and benefits of ITS applications for operational improvements • Systemwide ITS Improvements (10021) • Development and procurement of ITS improvements resulting from the ITS Master Plan recommendations to begin in fiscal year 2012

Capacity/Operational Improvements • SR 836 Eastbound Auxiliary Lane (83622) • Open to traffic at end of Summer 2011 • SR 836 Auxiliary Lanes and Interchange Improvements (83628) • Project Development underway • Project to be delivered as a Design-Build and funded in future work programs • SR 836 Interchange Improvements at 87 Avenue (83629) • Final design to begin in fiscal year 2012 • SR 874/Killian Parkway Interchange (87404) • Open to traffic at end of 2011 • SR 874 Mainline Reconstruction (87409) • Design-Build to begin in fiscal year 2012

  10. Key Partnerships • Central Boulevard Reconstruction (11211) • Partnership with FDOT/MIA for 50/50 cost sharing. Project underway • SR 826 / SR 836 Interchange Improvements (83608) • Joint Participation Agreement with FDOT for $196.5M toward construction • SR 924 Extension West to the HEFT (92404) • Partnership with City of Hialeah & MD County for improvements to 138 St. • SR 878 / US 1 Interchange Improvements (87802) • Project development of operational improvement at the SR 878/US 1 interchange • MIC-DadelandBusway Study (20004) - Partnership with Florida East Coast (FEC) Railway to study the feasibility of bus service using the existing FEC Oleander Corridor between the MIC and Dadeland

FY 2010 Accomplishments • Awarded a total of $55.5 million in contracts for professional and construction services • 19% was committed to Small Businesses • Offered free of charge training to Small Businesses which led to 25 firms obtaining technical certifications for construction related services • Adopted a Local Business Preference Policy in Procurement and certified over 120 firms • Conducted rating agencies presentations, affirming ratings with positive outlook • Compliance with Bond Covenants 1.56 Senior Debt Coverage

FY 2010 Accomplishments • Spent $119.5 million in capital, safety and system preservation projects in FY 2010 • Open Road Tolling conversion: • SR 924 Gratigny Parkway – June 7, 2010 • SR 874 Dolphin Expressway – July 17, 2010 • SR 878 Snapper Creek Expressway – July 17, 2010 • Met ALL 17 FTC performance measures (FY 2010)
