Only a few changes • Uses 128-bit address fields instead of 32-bit • Uses new way to keep track of broadcasts • Using fragment offset + id no longer works • BPI == MD5 (non-mutable IPv6 Packet Data) • New option to make sure it’s unique! • Idea for a “flood data” hop-by-hop option • Option data includes destination address • Looks like a RREQ + data • Should RREP be optional?
