Who are we? • Multi-disciplinary centre involving Construction and Property Management, Art and Design, Virtual Reality, Acoustics, Civil Engineering, Environmental Management, Action Learning • 5* rated (RAE) • 49+ Research Active Staff • 17 Professors, 7 industrial visiting professors • 25 research assistants • 150+ postgraduates by research • 200+ industrial collaborators • More than 700 publications produced in the last four years • Research spent in the last 4 years, £7m in cash (£7m in kind) • Completion of more than 60 PhDs in the last 4 years • £600k Mres in construction innovation • £400k HEFCE VULCAN lab (Urban Regeneration) • Current research contracts in excess of £4m • Potential new contracts over £3m
