  3. Objectives • Influence Commission recommendations, • Create the foundation for specific reauthorization recommendations, and • Support AASHTO members in advocacy and education efforts.

  4. Products • Vision statement • Policy framework, including • Roles and responsibilities by level of government and by sector (public, private) • High-level program structure • Revenue sources and options • Supporting materials

  5. Policy Teams • Represent cross-section of AASHTO committees, regions • Use expertise, research to formulate vision, policy frameworks • Work parallel to policy research efforts, using preliminary results to inform policy team products
