  3. Problem Lack of access to nutritious foods • Inconvenient locations • Vending machines are currently unhealthy Students have fast-paced lives that demand convenient options

  4. Problem • How do we define healthy? • Vitamins and minerals • Protein • Calcium • Fiber • Low levels of fat, sugar, salt

  6. Objectives • Make healthy food options more accessible • Provide inexpensive healthy food options for students • Be cost effective • Reach a large amount of students • Reduce the amount of junk food eaten
