1. Fredericksburg 150 Battle Plan: Morning Battle Phase One – 10:00am 1 Spectators have several sites to watch this battle. From the heights at Ferry Farm you will watch the artillery open fire and see the crossing battle from the Union perspective. From the parking lot at City Dock or along the base of the hill of the Sentry Box house, you can view the battle from the Confederate perspective. Only media and VIPs are to be on the terraces. The best location for those with limited mobility would be the parking lot at City Dock. 2. 2 Fredericksburg 150 Battle Plan: Morning Battle, Phase Two – 11:15am The viewing area for the street battle is at Riverfront Park on Sophia Street. People with limited mobility will be placed in the front. Fighting will proceed up the Sophia Street and into the intersections in front of the viewing area. All spectators must stay on the river side of Sophia Street behind the fence or tape. No spectators will be allowed on Hanover or Charlotte Street. Period vendors (sutlers) will be located at Riverfront Park all day. This is also the beginning of the National Park Service Procession on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 1pm. 3. Fredericksburg 150 Battle Plan: Afternoon Battle at Marye’s Heights – 3:00pm Viewing areas for the Assault on Marye’s Heights will be on the corner of Hanover Street and Sunken Road and along Marye Street above Sunken Road. You will hear fighting coming up Marye and Brompton Streets, but this is small skirmishing leading into the battle. Please do not move towards the guns. The action will come to you.
