  2. . • Playing Uniforms • Clubs are to be guided by Rule 7 – page 78 of the 2012 Football Geelong Handbook. • As the Finals Series are the showcase of the Geelong FL and Bellarine FL it is expected that the clubs that are participating in these games conform to the standards as set by the League. • Therefore it is expected that all players taking the field in a Finals Series shall: • wear correct jumper with correct Football Geelong sponsor badging • wear correct shorts • wear correct socks • if wearing bike shorts under playing shorts these comply with Rule 7.6 (neutral colour) • Badges (and numbers) on jumpers MUST be in good condition Coaching Session

  3. . Finals Times of Play BFL & GFL Elimination, Qualifying, 1st Semi, 2nd Semi & Preliminary Finals. All finals in all grades are played with “Time On” Coaching Session

  5. . • Drawn Games • Extra time in Finals Rule 15 Football Geelong 2012 Handbook page 84 • There will be no drawn games in any finals. • In the case of equal scores at the end of scheduled time, the teams will play two (2) five (5) minute periods with time on. The match will recommence with the teams kicking to the same end as they were in the last scheduled quarter, with an immediate change of ends at the conclusion of the first extra time period. • Coaches are permitted to address players at the end of the game prior to the commencement of extra time. Players must be in position to recommence the game prior to the goal umpires returning to their position. (NOTE: Coaches cannot address players at half time in the extra time) • In the event of scores still being tied at the conclusion of these periods of extra time, play will recommence (without change of ends) and the team to score first will be the winner. Time on Refer Rule 10.5 – Laws of Australian Football - see VCFL Handbook Stopping and recommencing play Seniors ONLY “Time on” is be signalled by the field umpires by either raising one hand above his head OR by crossing both arms across his chest, by a boundary umpire who signals the ball is out of bounds (usually by raising one hand above his head) or is “out on the full” by stretching both arms horizontally or when a goal umpire signals a score is recorded (NOT when he completes waving his flags). Time on Reserves and Colts For all remaining Bellarine FL and Geelong FL Colts and Reserves games the following provision will be in place. • Games will be played according to advertised times WITH Time On • When the ball goes out of bounds time on will NOT be added unless the central umpire signals that he/she considers there will be an excessive delay caused by the ball going over the fence or another significant delaying factor. • “Time on” is be signalled by the field umpires by either raising one hand above his head OR by crossing both arms across his chest or when a goal umpire signals a score is recorded (NOT when he completes waving his flags). Please advise all Colts and Reserves coaching and team officials of these variations. Coaching Session

Umpire escorts • Responsibility BFL Finals (All) – Host Club GFL Finals (1st three weeks) – Participating Clubs GFL Grand Final - Police Player Reports during Finals • The relevant paperwork regarding player reports will be obtained from the officiating umpires after each game during the finals by the appropriate Football Geelong Ground Manager. The Club Team Manager MUST contact the ground manager prior to leaving the venue to obtain the all clear or a copy of the relevant report. Coaching Session

  9. . Any player or official who forgets or misplaces their pass WILL be required to pay the admission price at the gate. The admission price WILL NOT be refunded No Pass – Pay at the Gate Coaching Session
