  7. Board Assessment • Annually • Familiar with the mission statement • Attendance • Responsibilities are clearly outlined and understood • Committee and chair positions are successful • Methods for addressing

  8. Succession Planning • Term limits • Clearly Identify the needs of the Chapter • Match needs with talent and skills • Determine the Gaps

  9. Recruitment • Planned Process • Classes vs Individuals • Recruitment Packet • Nomination Process • Candidate/New Board Member Orientation

  10. Recognition • Make them appreciated and valued • Highlight them at meetings • Look for national and local recognition programs • Be creative!
