  2. WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE .They can sometimes be green and brown. .Some can have yellow on them. .It can have big eyes on the side of its head. .The back legs are much bigger than the front legs so the frog can leap away from predators and can swim fast.

  3. What animal group. On The Amphibian.co.uk you can find information on keeping amphibians. Amphibians are animals that have special lungs so they can live in the water and can live out of the water. So they can breath water and air. Other amphibians are newts and toads.

  4. Life cycle . Frogs lay their eggs in water or wet places.  A floating clump of eggs is called frog spawn.  When the frogspawn hatches there are tadpoles then they grow legs and turn into a frog.

  5. The common frog can breathe through its skin. This means it can hibernate for several months beneath piles of mud and decaying leaves underwater. WHAT IS IT'S HABITAT Soggy, sometimes light and sometimes Dark. If we want frogs to go in the garden we need leaves, flies and water.

  6. FOOD CHAIN The smaller frogs usually eat insects, spiders, bugs and fish . However bigger ones go for mammals like rats. How do frogs catch their prey? Frogs do not go around chasing their prey. They wait for their prey to fly over and stick their big long tongue out to catch it. There are lots of animals that eat frogs including birds of prey, crows and seagulls.

  7. Different types of frogs

  8. Interesting facts The eyes and nose of a frog are on top of its head so it can breathe and see when most of its body is under the water. Frogs can lay as many as 4,000 eggs in frogspawn People who study frogs and toads are called herpetologists. Herpetology is the study of amphibians and reptiles. . The world's biggest frog is the goliath frog from Cameroon in West Africa. Their body can be one-foot long.
