Support Matrix for DAT 72 DeskTop 1) The DAT 72 Desktop is supported connected to the SG-XPCI2SCSI-LM320 HBA in the Sun Fire V20z and V40z servers running Solaris 10 x86, RHEL (ES 3.0 u3), Microsoft Windows NT (Enterprise Edition), Windows 2000 (Server, Advanced Server), Windows 2003 (Server, Standard Edition, Web Edition, Enterprise Edition). Supported as a backup server using Sun StorEdge Enterprise Backup Software 7.2 on Linux and Windows operating systems. If running Solaris 10 x86 backup via command-line scripts only. 2) The DAT 72 Desktop is supported connected to the server onboard SCSI port of the V60x and V65x servers running Solaris 9 x86. Sun StorEdge Enterprise Backup Software 7.1 and later can be used with Solaris 9 x86 (Veritas NetBackup as a backup server is not currently supported with Solaris 9 x86). 3) The DAT 72 Desktop is supported connected to the server onboard SCSI port of the V60x and V65x servers running Red Hat Enterprise Linux 2.1 and 3.0. Support Matrix for L100 The L100 is supported connected to the SG-XPCI2SCSI-LM320 HBA in the Sun Java Workstations W1100z and W2100z running Solaris 10 x86, RHEL (ES 3.0 u3), Microsoft Windows XP (Professional). Currently, there is no backup software application support for Sun Java Workstations W1100z, W2100z servers. Backup via command-line scripts only. The L100 is supported connected to the SG-XPCI2SCSI-LM320 HBA in the Sun Fire V20z and V40z servers running Solaris 10 x86, RHEL (ES 3.0 u3), Microsoft Windows NT (Enterprise Edition), Windows 2000 (Server, Advanced Server), Windows 2003 (Server, Standard Edition, Web Edition, Enterprise Edition). Support Matrix for SE3120 Solaris X86 9 (04/04), 10 Operating Systems, Sun Server and HBA Support Note 1 – Not supported at this time; awaiting patch for SD bug (disk devices and volumes may be unable to achieve full capacity). Linux Operating System, Sun Server and HBA Support The following table lists the Sun systems that are supported for the Sun StorEdge 3120 SCSI array and the adapters supported for each of the supported systems for the Red Hat Linux Operating System. Note 1 – At this time, on-board HBAs with the Sun Fire V60x and V65x servers are not supported due to incompatibility with the SCSI chip and LSI repeater in the Sun StorEdge 3120 SCSI array. Note 2 – These servers do not have on-board SCSI ports available. Microsoft Windows 2000/2003, Sun Server and HBA Support

  10. Support Matrix for SE3310 Solaris X86 9 (04/04), 10 Operating Systems, Sun Server and HBA Support Note 1 – The Sun StorEdge 3310 JBOD is supported at Ultra160 speed only. In order to use it with these servers and HBA's, modifications are required to the driver's configuration files. Please refer to the Release Notes for the changes needed. Linux Operating System, Sun Server and HBA Support The following table lists the Sun systems that are supported for the Sun StorEdge 3310 SCSI array and the adapters supported for each of the supported systems for the Red Hat Linux Operating System. Note 1 - Support for this FC HBA adapter is provided for both Red Hat Enterprise Linux Advanced Server 2.1 and 3.0 using Qlogic's native driver.
