  1. Improvement of antiproton-proton elastic scattering simulation A. Galoyan, V. Uzhinsky, 26 October 2011 We implemented a simulation of antiproton-proton elastic scattering in G4AntiNuclElastic class according to the formulae The real part of the amplitude was not considered, and the amplitude was not used in Glauber calculations of antinucleus-nucleus scattering. Amplitude in Gaussian form was used. Introduction of the real part in the amplitude for elastic pbar-p simulations Tuning of the parameters (R, c, rho) using exp. data 3. Application of our method to the pp-scattering at 7 TeV (Totem data) c 1

  2. Real part of the elastic pbar-p amplitude. Derivative dispersion relations! J.B. Bronzan, G.L. Kane, U.P. Sukhatme, Phys. Lett. 49B (1974) 227; M.M. Block, R.N. Cahn, Rev. Mod. Phys. 57 (1985) 563 Fitting expression Parameters: A1, R, c, A2 2

  3. Fitting results (low energy) 94 sets of exp data were used from Plab=181 MeV/c up to sqrt(S)=1800 GeV 3

  4. Fitting results (intermediate energy) 94 sets of exp data were used from Plab=181 MeV/c up to sqrt(S)=1800 GeV 4

  5. Fitting results (high energy) 94 sets of exp data were used from Plab=181 MeV/c up to sqrt(S)=1800 GeV 5

  6. Fitting results 6

  7. The ratio of real to imaginary parts of the amplitude 7

  8. Extrapolation results 8

  9. The first published result Structure of antiproton-proton elastic scattering amplitude A. Galoyan, V. Uzhinsky JETP Letters, v. 94, No 7 (2011) The Totem results, pp-interactions at 7 TeV! EPL, 95 (2011) 41001, EPL 96 (2011) 21002 Reff=1.07 fm, Ceff=0.375 fm 9

  11. The Totem results, pp-interactions at 7 TeV! EPL, 95 (2011) 41001, EPL 96 (2011) 21002 11

  12. Conclusion 1.Real part of the elastic pbar-p scattering amplitude was introduced in the consideration 2. Tuning of the amplitude parameters -- R , C and Rho have been done using 94 sets of exp.data 3. Interpolation of the parameters was proposed 4. Exp. data on antiproton-proton elastic scattering are well described with the parameterizations 5. Good results are obtained for recent Totem data! Plans: 1. Introduce the real part of amplitude elastic pbar-p scatering in the G4 class: G4AntiNuclElastic 2. Re-calculate antinucleus-nucleus cross sections 3. Definition of real part of the amplitudes of Pbar - Nucleus and light Anti-Nucleus - Nucleus elastic scatterings 12
