  3. Animals that live in the Temperate Rainforests.

  4. Black Bear • 11Black Bears live in the forest. They are excellent tree climbers, but are also found in mountains and swamps. Black bears could be blue-black, brown, cinnamon, or even (very rarely) white. 12

  5. Raccoons • 2The raccoon is not a picky eater, so it can eat anything. That’s a good thing because it can live anywhere without worrying about food. 3

  6. Elks • 5It has a special stomach that allows it to eat a lot of things including, grasses, shrubs and trees including bark and limber. 7

  7. Plants living in the Temperate Rainforest

  8. Carnivorous plant

  9. Venus Fly Trap • 8This plant grows up to 30 feet tall and it can have pitchers up to 12 inches in length, the pitchers are sticky so when small insects get inside, they can't get out. And some larger insects try to get those small insects from inside so they would also get eaten by the Venus Fly Trap.

  10. Orchid • 6It releases a scent into the air, that attracts bees so it gets pollen from it.

  11. Human activities that have changed the temperate rainforest the most. • Logging: The activity of cutting down trees and preparing for timber. • Hunting
