For example: Word processor used for searching and sorting records Spreadsheet used for processing text Database used for looking at pages on the Internet Browser used for performing calculations

Input devices Output Devices are used to enter data into the computer for processing are used to bring data out of a system For ex: Keyboard For ex: Printer
