What is Skills USA? • Skills USA is a partnership between industry, students and teachers to ensure that the United States has a skilled labor force. • SIMPLY SAID, “Everyone working together to be sure that you have the necessary skills to obtain a job and perform that job to the best of your ability so that you can have a better future.”

How to Succeed • Regional Competitions • Nashville, TN • State Competitions • Chattanooga, TN • National Competitions • Kansas City, MO Some competitions require regional qualification before proceeding to the state level. Many proceed directly to state for competition. To compete at the national level, you must place first in your competition.

  8. WAYS & MEANS PAYMENT PLANS FUNDRAISING Individual fundraising will apply toward the amount due for travel. Chapter fundraising goes to purchase equipment and clothing. • $25.00 a month beginning in September for state conference • $125.00 beginning for January for national conference • Full refund if you choose not to go before registration deadlines.
