  2. Who we are Core Assets have beenworking with the most complex children and their families – in the social care sector – for nearly 20 years. Over the last year, Core Assets have worked with over 3300 Looked After children. We are currently working with approximately 1870 families to provide support ranging from intensive family support through to supervised contact. Ofsted inspections of relevant Core Assets services are classified as “good” or “outstanding. Local footprint in Bromsgrove supported by National Infrastructure Head Office in Bromsgrove

Our experience within Worcestershire Foster Care Overnight stays for Disabled Children Education - Core Pathways to improve attendance Supervised Contact Worcestershire FIP – in partnership with Vestia, delivering a 3 year Family Intervention Programme through providing clinical supervision Land-based education programmes as an alternative to school exclusion Undertook Inspection Preparation & Mock Inspection for both Safeguarding and LAC Personal Assistance 1:1 Support / Befriending for Disabled Children in Wychavon Short Breaks for Disabled Children Holiday Schemes in Redditch and Bromsgrove Activity Groups in Redditch and Bromsgrove Positive Activities for NEETs 12 week groups in partnership with Prince’s Trust in Kidderminster and Redditch

Examples of our experience in the Midlands Therapeutic services including sexually problematic behaviour (Youth Offending), and adoption assessments Triple P & Family support and specialist parenting programmes for up to 90 families who are vulnerable due to parental mental health issues, learning disabilities or substance misuse. Spot Purchase for Family Support at ‘Cusp of Care’ Education – working with 3 academies to improve attendance and attainment Education – alternative education for excluded pupils

Examples of Key Contracts - Nationally Supporting 480 families in Kent in ‘Crisis Intervention’ programme Supporting 80 families under ‘Troubled Families Agenda’ in Macclesfield Call off contract for out of county post adoption therapy (through Doncaster MBC) Working with schools in Preston to identify early signs that children and families may require additional help and ensuring they receive coordinated support via the CAF. The service works with 150 families, targeting children aged 7-11 years, providing a link between the child’s home and education staff to improve school attendance and attainment levels. Approved provider for TTF in Nottinghamshire Recently approved as provider for London Borough of Sutton Targeted Family Support
