On The Day… Drivers: Go from High Wycombe towards Hughenden & follow that road, straight through the roundabouts & turn right at The Harrow pub onto Warrendene Rd and follow it for 5 miles ‘till the T-junction with a sign for “Great Hampden”. Turn left, and you’ll see the gates ahead – they will open automatically. Follow the driveway and there is another automatic gate on the right. This leads you to the car park. Not planning on driving? Please be sure to book your taxis a day in advance for getting to Hampden House by 3.15pm. We will be providing transport after the ceremony over to The Hit Or Miss Inn for approx 40 guests – but again, please pre-book your midnight taxis well in advance – it’s a Saturday night! 5. Hampden House & The Hit Or Miss Inn As you know, by the time we get hitched, we’ll have lived together for 6 years and over those years we have accumulated an immense amount of stuff. We definitely don’t need any more stuff! So therefore we have no formal wedding list for you. However, what we really are in need of is refurbished bathrooms in our never-quite-finished 1930s house. Any gift is lovely, but if you’d like to make a contribution towards our renovation fund then we would make very good use of that gift! We can’t promise your name on a plaque, but we might name the shower head or loo seat after you!
