  3. 1984 Chicago Bulls Jerseys

  4. The Chicago Bulls jerseys of the early/mid 80's went on to become one of the more popular jerseys as a result of Michael Jordan's greatness. Let's take a look at some of the basic features of the road jerseys they wore. It falls in line with the basic mesh "theme" other teams had in the 80's. The Chicago script is written in cursive but the lettering is screen printed. The letters and names on the back were also screen printed. The Chicago name is written horizontally and the numbers are placed in lower left hand corner basically. Having a city name on the front of the jersey was a unique thing for the time since most if not all jerseys had team names. Placing smaller numbers in the corner of the jersey was also something not done by other teams. The size of the number fonts on the jerseys were also fairly atypical.

  5. 2015 NBA All Star Game

  6. The 2015 NBA All Star Game was played at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The game was exciting but the jersey can be considered by some to be plain and by others to be fresh. The one thing that stands out is that the front of the jersey doesn't have any text of kind saying NBA All Star, Easter Conference, etc. There are no large All Star Game Logos and no background graphics. The stars on the side of the jersey are a nice touch. The one thing that stands out is the large number. On the back there is a full name on the top (first name) and bottom (last name) of the numbers as well as a small logo.

  7. 2010 NBA All Star Game

  8. The 2010 NBA All Star Game was played in Dallas Texas and the jerseys worn were quite "futuristic." There is a large star that serves as the back drop. There are even more stars which are tiny on each side of the jersey. The font used is pretty sleek especially the name area (West, East). The Star around the NBA logo on the sleeve is a nice touch. They could have made it the same colors as the jersey but chose to do the traditional red, white, and blue outlying the white Jerry West silhouette. The 3 stripes on each side signify the partnership the NBA has with Adidas.

  9. Bulls Alternate Jerseys

  10. The Chicago Bulls wore an eye-catching pinstripe jersey for the 95/96 and 96/97 seasons. Of course these were the first two seasons of the second three peat. The Bulls incorporated all black uniforms for the first time and added the red pinstripes. They were one of the first teams to incorporate alternate jerseys. Champion was still the exclusive supplier of uniforms to the Bulls and all the other NBA franchises. The font for the numbers and team name was exactly the same as their home and road uniforms with three tones. The piping along the sleeves with red, black, white highlights blends in well with the black jersey base. Having the three tones for the lettering enhances the jersey tremendously. Any type of screen print would have cheapened it. The pinstripes could have been embroidered in to the fabric but that would have been against the norm. The Hornets and Raptors had stripes blended into their jerseys as well.

  11. All Star Game and Warmups

  12. The 1998 All Star Game was one of the few times the players wore their actual uniforms as mentioned in another blog post. What was also worn for that game were Warmup Jackets and Pants which were used during the regular season. Upon examining pictures it can be seen that players brought their entire collection of warmup jackets, shooting shirts, and pullovers to the game as well as pants. Although not all of them were worn by all players a few "layered" the warmups (shooting shirts and jackets) over each other. The Lakers were represented by 4 players on the western conference so they had a large presence of purple and gold. It was a pretty colorful mix of styles and designs because back than there was no exclusive licensee for the NBA when it came to on court apparel.
