  4. Introduction to Assessment Activities • Assessment Teams and PLCs (Professional Learning Communities) in our Professional Development Schools: Making Data-Informed Decisions • District-Determined Measures (DDMs)

Our Key Assessments • Transition from NCATE (National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education) to CAEP (Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation) • We need data from the beginning, middle, and end of programs. • We need to continue to collect data on the identified key assessments.

  6. Sample Tables of Key Assessments • Targeted Courses – Assessment – Semester Collected • Undergraduate - Special Education: Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 with Elementary , Moderate Disabilities 5-12, and Severe Disabilities (All Levels) • Graduate – Special Education: Moderate Disabilities PreK-8/5-12 and Severe Disabilities (All Levels) Initial Licensure

  7. Sample Tables of Key Assessments to be Created • Undergraduate Program Coordinators complete and send to Nancy by March 7th • Graduate Program Chairs complete and send to Nancy by March 7th

  8. Data Analysis from October Unit Meeting • Summary of Program Reviews 2012 -2013 • Model template next fall • Working Templates • Action Plan Samples • Action Plan Template to be completed – What is reasonable to complete this semester?

  9. Coming Attractions • March 20th Meeting – Standard 3 committee’s draft of a new Observation Report form will be reviewed. • April 17th Meeting – Ann, Jason, and Annette will have attended a CAEP conference in March and should have a lot to share. • May 22nd Retreat – We need to revisit the action plans created today and plan key assessments for 2014-2015. We also need to see where we are with lesson plan revisions and do some reliability studies. Stay tuned!
