Order Verification is the Nurse’s first line of defense in relation to medication errors. Technology has created a friendly users process and has cut our time with this function in half. Just like many other functions, nurses have utilized technology as the all in all. This is why the nursing track team decided that we need to get back to the basics of practice as we embrace technology to assist us with providing safe care for our veterans.
