  4. Discipline • Blue Folders go home on Tuesdays, return signed on Wednesdays. You need to sign the behavior card only once per week this year!  • Yellow cards go home when a student gets a mark. Please sign and return • CiCi’s for 0-3 marks in six weeks/$4

  5. Discipline • Social Contracts developed by classroom • How do you want to be treated by me? • How do you want to be treated by each other? • How do you think I want to be treated by you? • How should we treat each other when there is conflict?

  6. Discipline • Procedures/Routines help us make sure we are where we are supposed to be, doing what we are supposed to be doing • Mornings • Hallway • Lunch/recess

  7. Homework • Yellow folder is for homework. Remember to keep homework in Yellow folder, not the blue behavior folder. • Assigned Monday, Due Friday • Graded papers go home on Tuesday in blue folder

  8. Web Pages • Sign up to receive e-alerts when teacher pages are updated • Check for spelling lists, homework assignments • Links to extra practice

  11. Snacks • Snacks • Finger foods (no spoon required) • Not messy (we work while we are snacking – gets on books/papers) • Water Bottles • Water only • Insulated so they don’t sweat (or student needs to wipe up water) • Not too large

  12. Lockers • Can go to lockers at following times • First thing in the morning • Lunch • End of day • Decorations • Shelf ok • Mirror, small items, magnets ok • No Wallpaper, rugs, chandeliers, etc.

  13. Forms • First day of school forms • Student Code of Conduct form • Parent Volunteer

  14. Looking forward • Exciting year ahead • Stations • Computers • Austin • Experiments • Parents are welcome to come help. Just let me know what day you would like to come.
