  2. The idea • We have the letter N and the age range is going to be for 4-6 year olds. • The advert will be shorter than 30 seconds. • It will be bright to attract younger children. • A voice over will be added to help younger children understand the story, it will also help them pronounce words easier.

  3. Details • It will have a narwhale that lives in the sea, we picked a narwhal because it’s a sea creature that begins with the letter N and also it is basically a unicorn that lives in the sea which will attract younger children. • The advert will start off during the day and about half way through it will turn to night, we’ve have thought this through and as we don’t have many N words we added in the day change as night also begins with N.

  4. Details • After it turns to night, nuts will fall from the top of the sea and Nelly will begin to eat them. We picked nuts as they are a very well known food as young children will know what they are. Hence the sentence that will play at the end, “Nelly the Narwhal likes eating Nuts at Night. • The Narwhal will have a name, Nelly. We’ve done this because it means that it’s a roll off the tongue. “Nelly the narwhal” it just makes people want to listen.

  5. Pre production • We’ve started adding powerpoints and N word idea’s to our weebly, going through lists of what N words work best and then using them. • We have also made a story board for the whole advert and that is also on my weebly. • We have made our backdrop, and the characters, plus any extras so we a nearly ready to start filming.
