The Iraq War. U.S. enters Iraq in search of weapons of mass destruction. However, both Israel and North Korea are suspected of having Weapons of mass destruction but U.S. has not invaded them, so this could not be the only reason.

  2. U.S. enters Iraq in search of weapons of mass destruction. However, both Israel and North Korea are suspected of having Weapons of mass destruction but U.S. has not invaded them, so this could not be the only reason. No weapons were found. Hussein escaped to an unknown location. Al Qaeda was the group forming against the U.S. not Iraq, the invasion of Iraq did not help our war with Al Qaeda. Invasion was taken place to find Sadam Hussein and remove him from power but south of Iraq Shiite leaders who are against U.S. occupation have taken over and continue killing troops. Iraq would not have attacked unless U.S. forces did, Saddam Wanted to keep his weapons. U.S. invaded to take control of main oil producers and remained neutral while Iraqi’s looted museums, stores, and weapons cache’s. Invasion of Iraq

  4. People in Iraq Iraqi’s strongly opposed to coalition troops – 82% Iraqis who believe Coalition forces are responsible for any improvement in security - less than 1% Iraqis who feel less secure because of the occupation - 67% Iraqis who do not have confidence in multi-national forces - 72%

A Shift in Power • -Barack Obama and advisors are expected to remove troops from Iraq. • -Obama administration will continue counter terrorist missions and ensure civilian safety in Iraq. • -Aggressive diplomatic effort to reach a comprehensive compact • On stability of Iraq. • Will provide 2 billion dollars for refugees and people displaced • In their own country.
