  3. There were new privileges • People had the freedom to smoke & drink in public. • Women had the right to vote.

  4. Who was affected? Teenagers were affected the most with these changes. Many girls cut their hair and changed their whole wardrobe. Many guys also changed their whole wardrobe and started slicking their hair down with neat parts.

  5. How did people react? Most young people were willing to experiment with the new changes whereas older people were shocked by the new behaviors and styles.

  6. Radio • People could now hear live news. • People could now listen to comedy shows. • Music was easier accessible.
