God is the center/focus of our activities on that day • Also follow the first commandment • Originally, the Lord’s Day was called Sabbath (Saturday), which is the day the Jews keep holy. • For the Christians, Sunday is the Lord’s Day. • We celebrate his presence in the Holy Eucharist. relives Paschal Mystery and recalls Pentecost Sunday

  5. Sunday Mass • highlights “keeping the Lord’s Day holy” • must participate in the Mass actively • During Mass we show: • Unity • Thanksgiving • Faith • Renewal

  6. Family Bonding and Relaxation • day of rest and being together with family • we must balance relaxation

  7. Charitable Acts • we participate in charity works and community service • we can be sacristans during Mass or give donations during Offertory • we must do generous acts everyday
