  3. Junior Metayer • Second-year studying Materials Science and Engineering • Outcome from EGN1935: Excellent supplement to physics II. • How will this course affect you in the future: Explored the various options in the field of engineering. • UF plans and goals: Definitely join a student-lead engineering group or undertake undergraduate research. • Career plans and goals: Develop superconductors capable of operating at room temperature and possibly experience the MeissnerEffect. • Words of wisdom: Don’t give up in your pre-professional classes and HUM2305; things get better and cooler down the road.

  4. Ming Yang • First-year studying Electrical Engineering • Outcome from EGN1935: Exposure to the practicality of electrical engineering • How will this course affect you in the future: It shows me the way to introduce electrical engineering to new engineering students. • UF plans and goals: Graduate with a decent GPA. • Career plans and goals: Find a full-time job after graduation. • Words of wisdom: Don’t fall behind in lectures.

  5. Ting-hsinkuo • First-year studying Electrical Engineering • Outcome from EGN1935: Introduction to EEL3701C and review of PHY2049 • How will this course affect you in the future: Demonstrates what an electrical engineer works with and on. • UF plans and goals: Get involved with more student organizations and pursue a doctorates degree through the University of Florida BS/Ph.D. program. • Career plans and goals: Conduct and lead research at top companies. • Words of wisdom: Get started early; if you are unsure of what to get involved with, dip your toes in everything that appeals to you and continue with the ones that capture your attention the most.

  6. Robot story Tim Tebow runs through the defensive line and makes his way to the end zone and scores a touchdown.

  7. Team conclusion Engineering consists of the collaboration of many fields, such as this class – electrical engineering, mechanical, material science, etc. This class introduced concepts taught in Digital Logics and exposed us to the world of electrical engineering. To the next group of students: stick to what you are passionate about and overcome the obstacles that come your way.
