  3. CCOC GOAL To transform children’s mental health services and sustain CCOC wraparound mental health services through a governance model grounded in collaboration with families and key county government agencies and CBOs.

  4. OBJECTIVE 2: Address the special needs of all ethnic communities. Key Activities: Culturally competent services to meet the needs of Latino American, African American, Hmong American, and Native American children and families.

  7. When the CCOC grant application was submitted: 1 in 20 Native American and 1 in 11 African Americans were in foster care or group home placements. Most Latino American, Hmong American, and rural mountain youth and families had difficulty accessing mental health services and were under-represented in service provision.
