  16. Transparent Faith *Have you ever tried to do the right thing, but were completely wrong? *Why did that happen? Were you given the wrong information? Did you not do enough research? Were you led to believe something that was not true? *It can be tough to make a judgment call. *But sometimes you should say something. *Paul’s ministry includes many letters where he confronts the early church on how they were acting.

  17. Judgment– Lessons From Paul *It is okay to be upset about sin– God is, and that is why He sent his Son to pay the penalty for your sin. Starting Point… Yourself. Take a look at your own sin before looking at others. • How is your walk with God? • Are you lukewarm? • Are you doing anything to improve? • Is your faith Transparent “So when you, a mere human being, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?” --Romans 2:3 *Take a look at your own life before looking at others *All will be judged

  18. Judgment– Lessons from Paul *Because you are a Christian that does not mean you are the judge. *God is the final Judge. *Show the love of Christ “Instead, speaking the truth in love we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of Him who is the head, that is, Christ.” – Ephesians 4:15 NIV *The purpose of Paul’s ministry is to bring people closer to God *Sometimes confronting someone’s sin can help bring a person closer to living God’s way This needs to be done with caution, prayer, and love.

  19. Breakdown *It can be tough to make a Judgment call Luckily God is the final Judge *Start with yourself Make sure your relationship with God is strong *Show the love of Christ You should be showing God’s Love *Keep an eternal perspective It’s all about eternity– this is not where I belong

  20. Exercise Make Prayer a priority Cast all your cares upon Him You are not alone– God listens to your prayers Concentrate Think about your relationship with God If you feel like you are lukewarm, do something about it! Think about how you represent Christ Christ should shine through you The gift of eternal life is a treasure that should be shared
