  3. To begin, a piece of writing...

  4. One Fine Day It was a beautiful day outside, so I wondered what I could do. First I went to my friend's house. While I was there, we played outside in the sprinkler. After that, we went into her house and played Monopoly, our favorite game. After I left, I went to the swimming pool. I met another friend, and we played Marco Polo. Then I went to the deep end to go off of the diving board..."cannonball!" I was getting pretty tired, so finally I went home. Once I got there, I played a game of cards with my mom. To end my day, I took a nap. I hope tomorrow will be just as beautiful as today!

  12. The HHE Carnival On Saturday, I went to the HHE Carnival! When I got there, I went to the Book Fair. I bought three new books and one lovely purple pencil. After I said goodbye to Ms. Jackson, I left the Library and went to the HHE Cafeteria. I also saw my teacher at the cash register! I was so hungry that I bought a hot dog, a soda, and some nachos. I had to share some of the nachos with my Dad though, because he was hungry too. Before the Carnival ended, I knew I needed to do some of the Carnival Games. I won a 2-liter of Sprite at one station and a cake at the cake walk. Then I tried to break the board at the karate station, but I just ended up with a headache. I had a great time at the HHE Carnival!
