Point Serve smaller portions Explanation Larger meals may cause weight gain as the elderly are less active Point Calcium intake to increase Explanation Elderly people are at risk of osteoporosis therefore calcium is needed to maintain strong bones Point Food should be easy to eat/cut up Explanation Elderly people may have dentures and so my have difficulty chewing food.
