  2. Expectations • Three star hotels with private bath • Double occupancy • Light breakfast included each day • Chartered private coach • Some group excursions included • Hangi & Maori concert • Agro dome sheep show • Wautoma glow worm cave tour • Kaikoura Whale watching cruise

  3. Departure Day 12.05.03 • Meet at KCI at 11 a.m. • Fly on American Airlines to Los Angeles • Leave LA at 9:35 p.m via Qantas

  4. Day One 14.05.03 • Arrive early in Auckland (6:00 am ) • Check in at hotel (sleep 5 hours) • You just flew 12 hours from LA! • 2 hour tour of city / harbor about 2:00pm • Walk and shop on your own • 8:00 pm bedtime expected

  5. 14/16 May Auckland • Airedale Hotel • Art deco style architecture with just 100 rooms • Home to Planet Hollywood • Easy walk to Queen Street shopping and waterfront district

  6. Day Two 15.05.03 • Late start : 10:30 Welcome at Arataki Centre • Short bush walk • PM seminar Waitakere Eco-City Council • Afternoon of free time • Pack to change hotels tomorrow

  7. Day Three 16.05.03 • AM seminar at Zespri International Ltd in Tauranga • PM visit to Kiwifruit farm in TePuke • Coach to Rotorua

  8. 16/18 May Rotorua • Princes Gate Hotel • Built in 1897 • New Zealand’s leading “Boutique Hotel” • Centrally located • Overlooks Government Gardens

  9. Day Four 17.05.03 • All day in Rotorua – dress casual • Agri dome sheep tour • Walking tours / hot pools and mud pools • Hangi group dinner and Maori cultural event • Pack to leave tomorrow

  10. Day Five 18.05.03 • AM check out of hotel • Coach to Waitomo glow worm caves • Back to Auckland

  11. 18/21 May Auckland • Back to Airedale Hotel • City life

  12. Day Six 19.05.03 • AM seminar with Douglas Pharmaceuticals • 1:00 lunch & seminar at Oakridge House • Sponsored by UNITEC School of Communication

  13. Day Seven 20.05.03 • 10 am seminar at Alloy Yachts International • 2 pm seminar at Kumeu River Wines Ltd • Pack to leave tomorrow

  14. Day Eight 21.05.03 • Check out of hotel after breakfast • 10 am seminar at Fonterra Co-operative Group Ltd – Manukau City • 3:30 pm seminar at Auckland International Airport • Early evening flight to Christchurch

  15. 21/26 May Christchurch • The Russley Hotel • Located near airport • Minutes from popular Antarctic Centre • Modern rooms in garden city surroundings

  16. Day Nine 22.05.03 • Coach to Kaikoura for whale watching cruise ( weather permitting ) • Coach trip to Methven option ( Lord of the Rings castle ) • Free time to explore Christchurch

  17. Day Ten 23.05.03 • Seminar at University of Canterbury • Free time to visit Antarctica Centre • Walk and shop Christchurch

  18. Day Eleven & Twelve 24-25.05.03 • Sightseeing tour options on your own • Free weekend • Tour option to Queenstown possible • Return to meet group Monday morning • Flight scheduled to Auckland, onto USA

  19. Day Thirteen 26.05.03 • AM flight to Auckland • Leave Auckland at 5:55 pm via Qantas • Arrive Los Angeles at 10:45 am • Arrive KCI at 9:17 pm
