  2. Purpose • This document functions as a sample PowerPoint template that can be applied to your presentation for the E-session • The formats in this document are NOT REQUIRED • Reiterate the instructions for creating a voice annotated PowerPoint presentation

Applying a Presentation Template • If you wish to apply the page setup, formatting and styles in this presentation to you own, follow these steps: • Save this file to an accessible place on your computer system • Working in your presentation, select “Apply Design Template …” from the “Format” menu • In the dialog box, change the “Files of Type:” box to “Presentations and Shows (.ppt .pps)” • Navigate to where you saved this document on your system • Select this document • Click “Apply”

  4. Manual Formatting • You may use any presentation format you choose • For proper presentation on the E-session large format monitors, set the correct page format • Select “Page Setup…” from the “File” menu • Change the “Width” measurement to 19.5 inches • Change the “Height” measurement to 12.25 inches • Click “OK”

  5. Recommended Presentation Elements • The following elements are recommended • Title Page • Include Title, Author, and Date • Presentation Body • Voice annotate each slide • Total presentation length should be limited to 15 minutes • Author Bio • Include a picture bio of the authors at the end of the presentation • Provide e-mail address if you are interested in feedback from attendees
