  3. Amaç • Kurum ve kuruluşların BT politikalarına yön verirken çevre ve iklim değişikliği gibi geleceğimizi ilgilendiren konulara karşı farkındalık yaratmak ve bu konuda çalışan tüm karar vericilere, araştırıcı ve uygulayıcılara yardımcı bir belge hazırlamak.

  4. Giriş • Çevreci Bilişim, genel anlamıyla; daha az yer kaplayan, daha sessiz çalışan, daha az enerji tüketen, daha az ısı yayan, geri dönüştürülebilen (tekrar üretimde kullanılabilen), ekolojik (daha az zararlı madde kullanılan), çevreyi kirletmeyen bilişim ürünlerinin kullanılmasıdır.

Türkiye’de elektrikli ve elektronik eşya atıklarına ilişkin özel toplama merkezleri bulunmadığından fiili olarak ülkemizde çıkan elektrikli ve elektronik atık miktarlarına ulaşılamamaktadır. 394 390 345 2. Geri Dönüşüm • Geri Dönüşüm Sisteminin 5 Temel Basamağı 1.Kaynakta Ayırma; Değerlendirilebilir nitelikli atıkları çöple karışmadan oluştukları kaynakta ayırarak biriktirme 2.Değerlendirilebilir Atıkları Ayrı Toplama; Bu işlem değerlendirilebilir atıkların çöple karışmadan temiz bir şekilde ayrı toplanmasını sağlar. 3.Sınıflama; Bu işlem kaynağında ayrı toplanan malzemelerin cam, metal plastik ve kağıt bazında sınıflara ayrılmasını sağlar. 4.Değerlendirme; Temiz ayrılmış kullanılmış malzemelerin ekonomiğe geri dönüşüm işlemidir. Bu işlemde malzeme kimyasal ve fiziksel olarak değişime uğrayarak yeni bir malzeme olarak ekonomiye geri döner. 5.Yeni Ürünü Ekonomiye Kazandırma; Geri dönüştürülen ürünün yeniden kullanıma sunulmasıdır.
