  3. Problem Analysis • Identify Stakeholders • Quantitative vs Qualitative • Must be objective and repeatable • Should use methods that can be predictive • Establishes criterion for evaluation

  5. Data Collection Possible data sources: • Traffic Counts • Flight Data • Passenger Demand Forecasting • Surveys e.g. cabbies, bus drivers, Public Safety Officers • Interviews at LEX • Camera footage • Plan views • Photographs Remember: Time is limited

  6. Alternatives 5. Propose Alternatives - Work in groups to come up with ideas 6. Evaluate Alternatives - Apply metrics from problem analysis 7. Selection of Primary - Final plan creation

  7. Recommendations & Limitations • Final, pre-conclusion portion should include discussions of possible errors and limits on the scope of the project • Should also include recommendations and plans for moving forward
