  2. ePageMD • ePageMD will be back online on 8/22/13 at 8AM • What is ePageMD? • ePageMD is a page forwarding system that allows: • Multiple people to sign on to the same pager • You can cover multiple pagers at once • Nurses page a virtual pager, and pages get routed to whoever is signed on to that pager • Eliminates need to manually forward your pager, and will encourage text paging for nurses

  7. Paging Note: Your text page will go out to whoever is signed onto the pager (in this case, C Blue 1 Intern Pager) This may be more than one person (ie. Primary intern, nightfloat, Ward resident, etc)

  10. Sign on to Pagers Note: Enter the full pager number with area code You will now receive all texts sent to that virtual pager (in this case, C Blue 1 Intern)

  11. Signing on to Multiple Pagers Again, use the full pager number with area code

  12. Signing on to Multiple Pagers Select which pagers you want to cover for

  13. What does this mean? • No more manual page forwarding • Sign on to your designated pager only at the beginning of the rotation • Sign out of your pager at the end of the rotation • Nightfloat will sign on to pagers once they receive signout • Encourage nurses to use ePageMD rather than directly paging your number
