  8. Ozonesonde • balloon-borne instruments, GPS with EN-SCI model 2Z-ECC ozonesondes and Vaisala RS80 radiosonde. • Temporally dense ozonesonde launches (daily). 2x 1o resolution Usually late afternoons or nights

  9. TES • High resolution Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS) on Aura satellite. • launched 2004 July 15, ~705 km sun-synch orbit. • Nadir footprint: 5.3km x 8.3km. O3: Similar Worden, Bowman, Noone, et al. (2006). 2x 1o resolution Early mornings (~6-8) or late afternoons (~17-19)
