  1. 1940-”The sea Hawk”(Lo sparviero del mare)-Michael Curtiz Interpreti Errol Flynn(cap.Geoffrey Thorpe) Brenda Marshall(Donna Maria Alvarez de Cordoba) Claude Rains(Don Josè Alvarez De Cordoba) Flora Robson(regina Elisabetta) Donald Crisp(Sir John Burleson) Henry Daniell(Lord Wolfingham) Trama Il capitano Thorpe, alla fine del “500, è uno dei famosi corsari che depredano le navi spagnole con il segreto appoggio della regina Elisabetta I. Dopo aver affondato il vascello dell’ambasciatore di Spagna, Thorpe propone alla regina un piano per impossessarsi dell’oro che gli spagnoli tengonoa Panama. L’ambasciatore riesce però a mettere all’erta il suo governo e così, nonostante la bella figlia del diplomatico, innamorata del corsaro, tenti di avvertirlo, Thorpe cade in un’imboscata e viene fatto prigioniero. Con un colpo di mano riuscirà però a rovesciare la situazione ed a impadronirsi della nave che lo trasporta. Cast tecnico Regia: Michael Curtiz Sceneggiatura: Howard Koch, Seton I.
