ABC’s and 123’s. Using pictures to teach letters and words, numbers and counting. ABC’s and 123’s. For the ABC’s in the previous slide I used the crop feature. I also had to rotate the picture. I retouched the picture to get rid of a word under the s and then applied the sepia tone.

  2. ABC’s and 123’s For the ABC’s in the previous slide I used the crop feature. I also had to rotate the picture. I retouched the picture to get rid of a word under the s and then applied the sepia tone. I also used the crop feature for the 123’s and inserted some text to make it the phrase 123’s. I also used the “I’m feeling lucky” feature which enhanced the picture.

  3. Pictures can help students recognize words starting with particular letters First I cropped the picture Then I used the piknik feature to enhance and add a border

  4. Here they can actually see the word to match it to the letter Rotate Add text and symbol Used the saturation feature

  5. The letter B! I cropped it, added some highlights and shadows, and again used the saturation feature. Look how it pops now! Boo!

  6. This picture shows two b’s(bed and blanket) and shows students can find words around the house • Black and White • Crop • “I’m feeling lucky” • Adjusted the color temperature
