Different types of technology that can be used: • Stixy account ( can be used to post cost of making kite and essay on what a tetrahedral kite is. • Diigo account ( can be used to bookmark websites students can access when researching what a tetrahedral kite is) • Wiki ( can be used to post all project requirements)

STIXY • An organizing tool • “facebook for school” • It can help students and teachers organize work for class. • Students and teachers can create tasks, appointments, files, photos, notes and bookmarks on their stixy accounts. • Great communication tool. You can send an email out to all students and they can send you messages also.

  7. Diigo • This tool allows you to bookmark all the websites you want students to go onto. • It allows you to restrict students from browsing all over the internet. They click on your bookmarks and it opens onto the same page. It then allows them to expand it. • If you want to provide additional assistance to what they are reading you can put sticky notes or highlight what you want them to concentrate on.

  9. WIKI • Allows you to collaborate with students • You can make a wiki to post all requirements of project.

  10. ****IMPORTANT**** • Students must have an email address to use stixy. The echalk accounts they used last year did not work. They had to have their own like google, yahoo, hotmail…etc.
