  2. Why its dangerous • Going out to places can be dangerous be cause it can lead to: • Driving while intoxicated • Underage drinking • Meeting strangers • Unprotected sex • Drug usage • And fights

  3. Underage drinking in high school • 39% drank some amount of alcohol. • 22% binge drank. • 8% drove after drinking alcohol. • 24% rode with a driver who had been drinking alcohol. • Abuse of other drugs. • Changes in brain development that may have life-long effects. • Death from alcohol poisoning.

  4. Driving under the influence • Every 53 minutes in America, someone is killed in a drunk driving crash. That equates to 27 people every day. • For drivers under 21, the U.S. has a No Tolerance policy that does not allow any alcohol to be in the blood system while behind the wheel. The consequences could include expensive fines, loss of license or jail. • In 2011, 9,878 people were victims of drunk drivers. • Kids and teens who get involved with alcohol at a young age are 7 times more likely to be involved in an alcohol-related crash in their lives.

  5. Unprotected sex • Having unprotected sex can lead to very serious risks such as: • Chlamydia • Gonorrhea • Trichomoniasis • HIV

  6. Drugs • Common know drugs used during spring break include: • Ecstasy • Cocaine • Marijuana • All of these commonly known drugs can put you in the hospital and possibly kill you in severe cases

  7. Fights • During spring break with the alcohol and drugs in your system you don’t know what you are doing and don’t you don’t think correctly you can end up in a fight for no reason what so ever.
