Doctrines and Teachings • Belief in one god • Torah, Tanakh and Talmud (written texts) • Inclusive religion • Heaven (olam ha-blah) and Hell (Sheol) • Righteous Gentiles receive salvation in olam ha-bah (based on their study of Torah along w/ prayer, repentance, and good deeds, through "reservation“) • No special caste • Promote a quiet contemplation
