  3. Check • He ---[open] the door and came out. • Stop ---[cry]. • Start ---[write]. • Keep---[smile].

  4. Checkis/am/ are or have/has been • Look, the children ---[play]. • The children ---[play] for a long time. • Hurry up. We --- [wait] for you. • We ----[wait] for you for half an hour.

  5. Check If one verb is given and before any conjunction you need another verb it may be- • -ing form • Past participle • Infinitive

  6. Examples • They went to exhibition ---[buy] handicrafts. • This is right place --- [park] the car. • ---- [smoke] is dangerous. • I saw a man ---[lie] on the road. • I like ----[swim].

  7. We areready ---[fight]. • She was very happy --- [see] my rusult. • This watch is ---[make] in India. • The match was ---[excite] • The best way is --- [work] hard.

  8. CHECK – it is direct or indirect. • He said, ‘I --- [will+come] late. • He said that he --- [will+come] late. • Papa said, ‘You ---[be] clever.

  9. Papa said that I --- [be] clever. • The teacher said, ‘The principal --- [go] out. • The teacher said that the pricipal ---[go] out.

  10. check - if • If I come, --- [meet] him. • If I were there, I --- [meet] him. • Had I been there, I --- [meet] him. • If they call us, we --- [should+go]. • Had they called us, we --- [should+go].

  11. check- used to • I used to --- [go] to school. • My papa --- [use to +work] in factory when he was a student. • She is used to --- [get up] late. • My friends are used to --- [watch] TV.

  12. check- modal auxiliary • You --- [shoould+take] permission before you enter the office. • You --- [shoould+take] permission before you entered the office. • Milk --- [shoould+take] daily.
