  1. Drug Rehab Definitely Indicated For Alcohol-Energy Drink Combos If you were worried about your kids eating sugar when they were young, that's nothing compared to what you can expect when they go to college - but we're not talking about sugar, we're talking about alcohol and the relatively new high, energy drinks drug detox in Florida. Combining them is becoming a trend in schools and colleges across the country and can be deadly. If your kid drinks alcohol and consumes energy drinks, that's even more reason to get them into alcohol and drug rehab. One of these drinks contains about twice the amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee and about three to five times as much as Coke or Pepsi. I met a college-aged guy a while ago who was working on a special project and hadn't gotten enough sleep for many weeks. He was drinking at least six energy drinks every night to stay awake. That's the equivalent of about 24 Cokes. He continued drinking them after the project. If he'd been drinking alcohol that excessively, or taking drugs - stimulants, for example, which are commonly used on college campuses as a study aid and to get high - he'd be a likely candidate for drug rehab. In fact, the energy drinks may warrant a trip to drug rehab all by themselves: There are definite elements of alcohol or drug addiction in that kind of behavior. However, when combined with alcohol - the new trend - energy drinks can be deadly Drug Rehab in Florida. The caffeine counteracts the suppressant effect of alcohol making you feel less drunk. So, you drink more. But when the caffeine wears off, faster than coffee, the alcohol takes over and you can even slip into a coma - which is what happened to one college kid in North Carolina. A school in Oregon sent a message to all parents to get them to stop their kids from drinking energy drinks because students were "literally drunk on a caffeine buzz or falling off a caffeine crash." And they were banned altogether in a school in Colorado. The combination of alcohol and energy drinks is also becoming a problem in Florida: Last week the combination killed a girl - an honor student. With Florida already being the pill capital of the U.S., chances are the problem will get worse and facilities offering drug rehab in Florida will start seeing more young people whose alcohol problem is also getting worse because they're combining them with energy drinks. Parents should also know that people who drink energy drinks are more likely to take risks - like getting into a car with a drunk driver alcohol treatment centers in Florida. If your kids are drinkers, they need to get into a drug rehab program. If they're also using energy drinks, you should put a stop to it right now - whether they drink or not.
