  3. Role The UJD will create equal conditions for all age categories of employees, do not allow discrimination in education, will allow the deepening and improvement of professional skills in accordance with the needs of the Authority and thereby supporting one stage of lifelong learning.

  4. Mission • To perform the state supervision upon the nuclear safety of nuclear installations with the objective to use the nuclear energy in the Slovak Republic. • Can be executed only at the condition of existence of an independent regulatory authority, satisfactory competences and public credit in regulatory authority. • To ensure professionalism - decision making takes into account R&D state-of-the-art knowledge as well as an operational experience. Conclusions are exact, irrefutable and reliable.

Analyzing of needsITP Individual training plan (ITP): All inspectors and others only based on resolution of leaders, for example lawyers Includes: Classification in the professional orientations Specific training Other training activities Curses realized by IAEA, OECD/NEA, EC, Language proficiency Validity for three years Approved by top managers (200, 300, 400) Evaluated after three years Up date – in process - add the periodical training

  20. ImplementationiTutor Project Num. 2006/018-175.04.01 Providing technical assistance for ÚJD in strengthening professional competence / qualification level of employees. Financing from EU funds under the program Transition Facility 2006 from 17.7.2008 to 17.9.2009, summary 14 months The overall objective is the ÚJD maintain a high level of safety of nuclear facilities through adequate human resources management office methodology of applying a systematic approach to training (SAT). Outputs: Long-term policy (strategy) of ÚJD staff, Modular Learning Program for PC (iTutor).
